Michael Byron has concurrently resigned his position from the Board but will continue to provide critical geological insight as a member of the Company's Technical Advisory Committee. Howes brings almost 40 years of mining experience, which includes progressive technical, operating, management and project roles in many of the largest underground mines and mining companies throughout Canada and internationally. ("Anaconda" or the "Company") (TSX:ANX)(OTCQX:ANXF) is pleased to announce the appointment of Rick Howes to the Board of Directors. Konami should have never allowed Upper Deck to manage the TCG in the beginning, because the cultural shift in mindset in the game in the last ten years has alienated the original players who grew up with this game.TORONTO, ON / ACCESSWIRE / Decem/ Anaconda Mining Inc. It has really pissed me off to watch the decline of this game over the last 20 years I'm not going to lie. Bought the very first starter decks in 2002 when I was in the first grade and played them out on the black top during recess. I grew up watching and playing yugioh since 1999.
This may be the last straw for me, but I'm not completely sure. I have considered switching over to Magic the Gathering multiple times in the last ten years after Upper Deck lost control of the TCG. I guess i just have to come to terms with the fact that this is a Japanese card game and that the strictly logical solution is not always going to be the chosen way of this game. But Konami could very well choose to use an exclusive 'xor' (annoyingly 'oriental' in style IMO, but certainly within their power).
But after reading the card again it does make a little bit of sense, Red-Eyes Fusion only works on cards that list Red Eyes Black Dragon as a fusion material monster explicitly, and technically with an 'inclusive or' Red Eyes Dark Dragoon does satisfy this requirement. At least, it pissed me off the first time I read it. I couldn't even believe it when I read it. The ruling contradicts the text on the card as it is printed. I hadn't even seen the ruling on the card before I posted this. I've attached a screen shot of gameplay in a situation i should have been able to use Perdaplant's effect, but could not. But, YGOpro does not allow me to do this hence this post. Because, Red-Eyes Black Dragoon in fact lists one Red Eyes Black Dragon as a fusion material monster, and Red-Eye Fusion can special summon any fusion monster that lists Red-Eyes Black Dragon as a fusion material monster - therefore I do not need a copy of Red Eyes Black Dragon in my deck in order to summon Red-Eyes Black Dragoon via Perdaplant Verte Anaconda's effect. I do not wish to run Red-Eyes Black dragon, nor do I need to in order to use Perdaplant Verte Anaconda's effect with either Red-Eye Fusion or Magicalized Fusion. The issue I have is that Perdaplant Verte Anaconda's effect only works if I put a Red-Eyes Black Dragon in my deck. My fusion material targets are Judgment Dragon or Chaos Emperor Dragon Envoy of the End and Dark Magician my fusion card targets are either Red-Eye Fusion or Magicalized Fusion. So, I run Red-Eye Fusion and Magicalized Fusion. Red Eyes Dark Dragoon lists fusion material monsters: Dark magician + Red-Eyes Black Dragon or 1 dragon effect monster. So, I have an issue with Perdaplant Verte Anaconda.
